Hi everyone. I have a 1993 Abi marauder and am looking to fit a battery charger to charge the leisure battery from the mains as i dont think there is one fitted to it.The battery is a 12v, 110ah.. I have 2 questions really, Are they easy to fit and what sort of charger would i need ( p.s it is not a gel battery)

Hi steve9189, Presumably you have AC hook up,if so you will have a big fuse box in the van with fuses and circuit breakers,inside that big fuse box there should be a battery charger,( Make sure you unplug AC from van IF you are going to take off the fuse box cover to investigate),you should also have a volt meter on the small control panel, if AC conected and the 3way switch on panel is in the van position, the voltage meter will register if you have charger, and if it is working, as Volts will rise to 12V+, If you have one fitted and is not working, and it needs to be replaced, it should be done by a qualified person (Health and Safety regs, and possible insurance claim), hope this helps you.
