Andrewshayes is surrounded by gently sloping meadowland, tucked between the Blackdown Hills and the stunning Jurassic National Heritage coastline. This means there are lovely country views all around us. We are a 4 star park with a Gold David Bellamy award.
There are many pleasant country walks through lanes and woods, but for the less energetic a five minute drive will bring you to Dalwood, a typical Devon village, with its Norman church and thatched 15th-century "Tuckers Arms" pub.
The whole park is landscaped amongst a variety of maturing trees with superb views over the Axe valley.
Motor-homes, touring caravans and tents are all welcome at Andrewshayes Holiday Park.We also have static holiday homes for hire and to purchase.
Our facilities are well maintained and where possible have wheelchair access. We have a lovely heated swimming pool which will be covered from May. Our spacious reception area has a basic shop (there's a supermarket in nearby Axminster). Our friendly bar has a large TV screen (for sports events) and we operate a takeaway food service, both open at weekends only outside the peak weeks (please check for details). We know how important clean toilets are so we maintain our modern shower/toilet buildings to a high standard. Overall we pride ourselves in the high standard of all our facilities.
Nearby Attractions
In less than twenty minutes by car you can be in one of the many well-known seaside resorts; Charmouth, Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth, to name but a few. For action packed days try Crealy Adventure Park or Woodlands Leisure Park, for animals there's Cricket St Thomas or the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary nearby. The unique Burrow Farm Gardens are 1 mile away and 10 miles to the grandeur of Forde Abbey.
Directions
From M5 MOTORWAY
Leave the motorway at Taunton on junction 25. Take the A358 to Chard & on to Axminster.
From AXMINSTER
Take the A35 towards Honiton, follow the road for 3 miles. Do not leave the main road until you see the caravan park sign at "Taunton Cross" signposted Dalwood & Stockland. Turn right, entrance 200 yards.
From HONITON
Take the A35 towards Axminster and Dorchester. Drive 6 miles turning off left at "Taunton Cross" signposted Dalwood & Stockland. Park entrance 200 yards.
