Fallbarrow Park is a 5 star park set amidst the wooded parkland that borders the eastern shore of Lake Windermere.
Fallbarrow allows you to discover the complete relaxation of an informal holiday. Set amongst the trees and terraces of a lakeside country estate, your holiday home offers you complete freedom from routine. The famous children's author Beatrix Potter based many of her stories on actual Lakeland locations around her home, Hill Top at Sawrey, just across the lake.
At Fallbarrow you have doorstep access to beautiful Lake Windermere with a slipway and jetty to make launching plain sailing. Children's facilities including a multi-activity play area and outdoor fun and games are all part of the Fallbarrow experience. Directions
Leave the M6 at junction 36, take the left hand lane onto the A590 (signposted Kendal, Barrow)
Continue forward onto the A591 (signposted Windermere)
At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A591 (signposted Windermere)
Continue forward on the A591 through Stavely and Ings (warning Speed Camera) passing Windermere to the mini roundabout (signposted Bowness, Ambleside, Ullswater)
Turn left at the mini roundabout onto the A592 (signposted Bowness)
Continue along A592 1.3 miles to Fallbarrow
