Morecambe Lodge is a quiet family run Holiday Home and Touring Park on the shore of Morecambe Bay.It is set in open countryside 3 miles north of Morecambe between Hest Bank and Bolton-le-Sands. We have 174 Static Pitches and 25 Tourers. The static pitches are all privately owned and we have a policy of no sub-letting, this keeps it a peaceful family friendly Park. The tourers are a mix of Seasonal pitches and touring pitches, all have hard-standing with an awning base,16 amps electric supply, mains water and a waste water point next to the pitch. The last four pitches A,B,C,&D have an option of 16 amps or 32 amps(larger socket)this gives you 4.25 Kw or 8.5 Kw approx.
Everybody on the Park has the option of Wireless Broadband as an annual subscription or as a weekly or weekend basis.
We have currently no max. age for statics, the only limit is selling on site can be done upto 15 years old.
Nearby Attractions
There plenty of walks arround the area, out on the beach you can walk to the right and over the hill to our neighbours Park who take tents at Red Bank Farm, they have a delightful new cafe/restaurant, you can then return via Pasture Lane and drop back into the Park via the steps next to the bridge.
If you turn left out on the beach you pass a previously hidden 19th century jetty which has been hidden for about 160 years, further on you come to a railway crossing over wich is an excellent Indian take-away, across the road and up Station Road you come to the canal over which is the Hest Bank Hotel which serves food most of the day and has a great beer garden. There are many cycle routes near by
Directions
Travelling from the South, up the M6,leave at junction 34 Lancaster. From Lancaster travel North up the A6 to Bolton-le-Sands, at the main lights turn left onto A5105, go 200yards and turn right for the beach by the first house, go down shore lane over the bridge, the Park is on the left, reception ia at the farmhouse.If travelling from the North(M6 J35) or East, travel South from Carnforth on the A6 to Bolton-le-Sands, at the main lights turn right onto the A5105 and proceed as above.
