A quiet site in pretty surroundings high up but sheltered from the wind. Spring brings a fantastic display of bluebells followed by foxgloves, and you'll see a wide variety of birds and even the occasional deer.
There is a choice of walks from the site to Gittisham, from Beer to Branscombe along the coastal path or from Ottery St Mary along the river. Sidmouth is a restful resort with a long pebble beach, a Donkey Sanctuary and an International Folklore Festival in August.
Nearby Honiton is an attractive Georgian town with antique and speciality shops including lace making and pottery as well as a market on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Nearer to home, the local pub is a 200-yard walk
This site has 7 acres of land accommodating 113 pitches with some requiring levelling blocks and 39 hard standing pitches.
There are two toilet blocks with privacy cubicles and laundry facilities. You will also discover on site a motor van waste discharge point, water-softening plant, Calor gas bottles are available, play equipment and boules pitch. TV signal is poor.

From E on A30 - turn off A30 Honiton By-pass (dual c'way) via slip rd at sp Sidmouth (A375); at end of slip rd turn L; in 100yds turn L; in 350yds turn R onto A375 (sp Sidmouth); in abt 2½m turn R by Hare & Hounds Inn onto B3174 (sp Ottery St Mary); in abt ¼m turn R into site ent.
From W on A30 - turn L off A30 (dual c'way) via slip rd at 1st turning to Honiton and A375 (under dual c'way); then as above
