Small, quiet Caravan/Campsite in centre of Dufton, near Appleby-in- Westmorland. On the Pennine Way Path . Ideal for walkers.
The site is located at the East end of the Village green and has outstanding views over Dufton Ghyll wood and the Pennines. It is an ideal stopping point for those doing Pennine Way, Pennine Bridalway and the Sustrans Pennine Cycleway be it just overnight or for a rest day or those of us who just want to have a quiet break away.
Stag Inn (food), 2 mins away, on attractive village green, surrounded by Lime Trees , and magnificent views of Cross Fell and the Pennine Range.

Historic town of Appleby - in -Westmorland. 3 miles away. GOLF COURSE, FISHING, SWIMMING POOL,HORSE-RIDING. Follow the Lady Ann Trail, or the River Eden walks.
Take a trip on the Carlisle / Settle railway line. Only 30 mins from Lake District by car.

From North: to Junction 40 ,on to A66 to Appleby turn-off; turn sharp right,following signs for Dufton.
From South:Turn off at Junction 38, to Appleby.Turn left over bridge by river following signs for Dufton.
