Arrived to a very warm welcome from Marian, and her son Chris showed us to our pitch on field 3.Once set up a quick look around the site and the inspection of the shower block we went back to the office to book another week later this year. The showers and toilets are spotless and no matter what time of day you go,hot water was always available, even though the site was full.
We were worried about the 400 yard narrow lane to the site as we were towing an Eribe with our Splitty, but in the week we were there we only seen one other car on the lane so don't let this put you off.
The lay out of the site is ideal families fields at the top then a few statics and the adult field and meadow down at the bottom. Our pitch was flat and the grass is well kept which follows the high standard of this site, and a site shop which had a good selection of the things you would normally forget.
All in all a wonderful site set in a beautiful part of the world, with shops and pubs all in walking distance,a must for any camper

We stayed on this site for one night while testing out my friends campervan.
It is very close to Baumaris and easy to find.
The owners were friendly and very helpful.
The site was relatively quiet so we basically had the pick of plots.
It is on a slope but it's not like the side of a mountain so didn't cause a problem.
The best thing about this site in my option are the facilities. The shower and toilet block are the best I have ever seen, spotless and well thought out, the cubicles are big enough to get changed in, the shower hot and free and there are 2 dressing rooms as well.
I would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely site run by lovely people! Helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived. The shower block we used was spotless and warm with proper showers and a nice touch is the private wash-rooms. Probably be a bit of a queue as this cuts down on the number of showers but we don't seem to eat, sleep or wash at the same time as the rest of humanity so fine for us. Also indoor washing-up! Use of a freezer! Don't fancy going back to the old carry-on days this Glamping suits the old geezers just fine. Our first long-ish outing in the new campervan but we're still proper campers; no telly, but a glorious night sky to gaze at as advertised. Doesn't it ever rain in Britain?
Nice little shop on site but only a 10 minute brisk walk into Llangoed where the Spar has all you need. There is a circular walk that cuts through the site and if you follow it through the lovely tent field at the rear of the site it brings you out at the start of the village and is a great bit of woodland for kids to play in. Our first time in Anglesey and the people couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Public car parks are free and most have a loo.(very important if you're a walker!) A note to say that the main tent field has quite a slope so chocks pretty much essential if you're in a van. We'll be back!

Extremely clean and well kept campsite. The owners had recently built an extra shower block. Great under floor heating.
The location is a couple of miles from the main village yet close enough to stroll out to for a day crabbing on the pier or visiting the impressive castle. There is also a large playground within the village and plenty of curio shops to keep all happy whilst the men explore the local pubs!
We went with friends and both families had children that thought the campsite was great due to the expanses of open space.
Whilst we'd originally booked, our friends have been back twice and we intend upon going again this year.
The site is costly during school hols however I guess you get what you pay for - the facilities are superb and a nice clientèle.

Stayed here for one night at end of March. It was good weather so we made a last minute decision to get away. We were the only people with a tent there so it would be hard to judge how the campsite would be if it were full. We were lucky as we could choose where to pitch and we virtually had sole use of the WONDERFUL heated toilet/shower blocks. We will be forever comparing future toilets to these! The lady owner was very friendly and even offered to boil a kettle for my hot water bottle! The campsite was a little drive out to Beaumaris itself but we were very impressed and would recommend this site to friends and family.

We went here in September and enjoyed the short stay, we were in the field to the left just as you enter the site and it was slightly sloped but not enough to be that noticeable,
The site toilet and wash facilities were great and could of slept on the floor due to the under floor heating. My 7 year old loved the play area and the ability to ride his bike around the fields.
Was woken up during the night as cattle were in the field behind us and scratching themselves against a telephone pole which was rather amusing.
No problem with wardens as they showed us where to go and left us to enjoy our stay. We arrived as the sun was going down and got help from nearby neighbours to pitch our tent as it was the first time we used it and their tent was similar.
Will be booking again in 2011
